X-Ray
X-Ray is a widely used test to examine the inside of your body. Over 40,000 plain X-Rays are taken each year as well as ultrasound scanning.
The service is provided by highly trained radiographers and assistant practitioners who will ensure you receive an appropriate and effective examination to produce diagnostic images.
You will need to undertake the instructions provided to you during the examination and you may be asked to stand, sit or lie down for your x-ray. Our department uses x-rays to take pictures of bones and organs. Scans of any part of the body can also be taken using x-rays and ultrasound.
